New Faculty Teaching Academy

Programming for NFTA has two sections. 

Section 1 is being held once a month on Tuesdays on 9/2, 10/7, 11/4, 1/6, 2/3, 3/3 and 4/14 in Baker 805 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm.

Section 2 is being held once a month on Wednesdays on 9/3, 10/8, 11/5, 1/7, 2/4, 3/4, and 4/15 in Baker 805 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm.

Fill out our form to apply for NFTA today. The application includes a brief statement of interest, teaching philosophy summary, CV and letter of support from your department chair or dean.

This program requires participants to submit applications. Deadline: August 29, 2025.

The application deadline for NFTA is August 29, 2025.

Applications will be evaluated by a selection committee comprised of Office of Faculty Affairs and Professional Education and AdvancED professional staff. In the case of having too many eligible applicants, the selection committee will choose a diverse group representing a variety of disciplines and experiences.
